We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Oh, I LOVE all the pictures! Thanks for sharing, everyone! Sadly, I don't have access to any of my family's old pictures, but we have some that date back to the invention of the camera. So very cool. I do have one picture of myself as a kid, but it's already been photoshopped with a filter. I don't even remember why. I'll share anyway: [link]

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Well, great, ita. Now I can't wait, either.

Your whole family is ridiculously handsome, and your fade was RIGHTEOUS.

From Shakesville, the scary scary greatest hits of McCain's recent interview with the Des Moines Register. The last excerpt is especially jaw-dropping--"I'm no non-sequitur but I have incoherence, incomprehensible shards of an ex-analogy strained well past the shattering point, AND I WAS A POW."

Always Anti-fascist!

Dude, we *know*. Just ascend already. Signed, Burned out on McCainiana. (I used to think there were some stories so compelling, they could never bore a person. Going to a prison camp would seem to be one, all politics aside.) Then McSame hit "noun verb and POW," and I generally spend the time thinking how *unlike* a dashing, adulterous, fighter pilot he now looks. But I've heard all his shit...a few times.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, they rated Brad Pitt over them, which is an understandable mistake, but Mark Wahlberg at #1? Mmm, no.

No, he's kinda cute, and a way better actor than I expected, but nobody's hotter than Clooney and Denzel.

That's just wrong.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

*unlike* a dashing, adulterous, fighter pilot.

McCain was a bomber pilot. I guess it doesn't make any difference, but I've seen the "McCain was a fighter pilot" thing a lot, so it bugs me.

He flew an A-4 Skyhawk from a carrier. Pictures of A-4s: [link]

Coding and Sleeping

The A-4 was a cool plane, so small for its job.
