Art Crawl!!!

Hmmm, I need to gather family pictures to scan on a slow day at work.

That would NOT be today.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

How y'all posting them from work?

I stashed a bunch of them on the LJ picture site. I should scan more in, actually.

“Not dead yet!”

Barb, did your mother sew on all the pearls? Tell me she had help.

Most of them. My next door neighbor helped sew some of them, but the majority of the work, my mother did.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Here's me at three.

1967ish mostly family photo (Mom's behind the camera). I'm the baby there.

At first, I thought the couch in that second photo had an afghan on it, but I now realize that's the upholstery. Ewww!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I need to get Pete to scan our wedding pictures. I also need to "borrow" a bunch of the family photos from the parents and get those scanned. The only photos I have online of my parents are ones from the past few years.

With that said, this is a really good photo of what my parents are like: [link]

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I am LOVING the pictures. Thanks y'all for cheering up my day.

In other news, Sars started her TN Donors Choose Challenge and I have another proposal in her challenge! Wheee! Though does anyone know what craziness she is going to do? It'll be hard to top her tomato dance.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Gotta love a basketball metaphor for the economic crisis.

I am loving the photo expedition. Thanks, Shir, for setting it off!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I think she's going to march on the capitol in the tomato suit.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.
