Allyson, for a moment I couldn't work out how you could possibly have mail for Colin. My brain is liquid. It hurts a little too much. But there's no way I can sleep for hours. And I just finished off the closest thing I have to an effective painkiller.
ita, I'm sure this sounds insane but it really does help my Mom sometimes... do you have any lavender to sniff? Or peppermint?
It dosen't make the pain go bye-bye, but it can make her more comfortable (if that makes any sense).
Before I had migraine meds, I used to rely on peppermint oil and on alternating between ice and hot packs.

Oh ita. That sucks. I hope lavender might help a little. It is incredibly helpful when I have a headache, though my headaches hardly compare to yours.
