And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

One Step Ahead and Babycenter tend to have slightly lower prices than other online sites.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I blame the fact that I recently heard gossip about him, but still.

Last week I came home to an answering machine message for an ex whom I haven't seen in more than 10 years. That was 3 states and 5 addresses ago. How in the world does someone contact me looking for him after all this time. And why?

There may have been a dream cameo or two influenced by this but mercifully, I don't remember any details.

Now tagless for your comfort.

GC, I usually order from One Step Ahead--their costumes are realy great and cheap. Although Pottery Barn Kids has some awesome ones that are just slightly more spendy.

In defense, Republicans say the complaints are coming from "intellectual" conservatives -- not Main Street Republicans, who they insist love the "hockey mom," from Alaska, as Palin describes herself.

For the love of all that's holy--WHEN DID "INTELLECTUAL" BECOME AN INVECTIVE???? What is BAD about being SMART?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's a little pricey, but worth noting that this year Target has infant/toddler meerkat and ring tail lemur costumes

Matilda will be a meerkat this year.

The putative future Amych baby can be a lemur. Especially now that the Lilybean is demonstrably not a lemur.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Matilda will be a meerkat this year.

I was about to volunteer to start a Busffista-thon, because this SO needs to happen.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Matilda will be a meerkat this year.

Meerkat is "surikata" in Hebrew (pronounced sooree-kata), which is one of my favorite words.

Also, the people demand future pictures.

Edit to say that by people, I mean myself.

I wish I could find a plush, naked mole rate costume somewhere.

Owen keeps vacillating between costumes. I would like to dress him up at Batman and Olivia as Robin if I can convince him.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

In not-baby-but-instead-cat news, my cat has, over the past few days, taken to scratching at the LCD screen on my TV. I've put tape sticky-side-up in front of the tv on the cabinet top to stop her from getting into position, but I'm looking for other ideas on how to stop her from doing it. Anybody else have a similar situation at home?

Coding and Sleeping

I approve of the Meerkat costume. Very cute.

That sounds awesome.
