Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Some things, occaaaaaaasionally, are even more important that porn.

They changed my polling place because of projected high turnout. I'm going to go at about 2-ish, try to avoid the lunch crowd.

If my internet dies today, I'll be making a crash cart of double AA's from remotes to get those damned hamsters running again.

And if McCain wins, I'm going to start filling out all the internet ads that beg me to teach English in Korea/Japan/Canada/the moon.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Please tell me you've verified this, and not learned it from some bogus phone call. (I'm all paranoid!)

Are you in KS or MO, Erin?

{{{Barb}}} I'm sorry you're having a bad day.

Much energy~ma to all who didn't get enough sleep last night.

The pain has eased up a little today. I'm sick of these little pain ducks nibbling at me.

I'm in MO, the land of "Oops, wrong voter books!"

Yeah, it's in my ward. My primarily Dem ward -- 64112 zip.

I think the problem has been solved by now. Geez, people. Hire Virgos.

EDIT: And yes, I got a letter from my Election Commision weeks ago. I'm taking it with me, and I know exactly where my original polling place it. The orig. polling place is a little elementary school, and the additional place is a v, large high school a few blocks away, so it's legit.

HA!! So, so true!!

{{{sj}}} right back. I feel for you, sweetie. I've never been a chronic pain sufferer, but the last couple of weeks, what with the bone bruise leading to nerve issues, and now having wrenched the hell out of my back freeing Jasmine from under the fence just ups my admiration and respect for the people I know who deal so gracefully with chronic pain.

Me? Not so much with the graceful.

Jasmine, at least, has had the good grace to look sheepish as she lies at my feet on the bed.

Thanks. I don't feel like I am graceful at all. I complain too much, and I haven't figured out how to deal with this and still get done what I need to get done yet.
