Come on out, River. The nice man wants to kidnap you.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Like 1992 MIDI sounding music. Oh ya, that says Dicken's England to me.

Maybe your costuming department can work with that. Grunge for all! (Except Scrooge. They can put him in a red latex catsuit.)

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

amych just made me choke. Must remember not drinking while reading b.org.

Drinking alcohol while posting, however, is another matter.

Oh that is too priceless. Should we give Marley the "Thriller" leather jacket then?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Seconding this rec. Be sure to get a good sharpener, though - that extends the life of the pencil by a lot. Plei can give recs on waterproof mascaras - I think she likes Blinc? (I try to stay with the no animal testing makeups, which limits me to Urban Decay in Sephora. UD's Big Fatty Mascara is awesome, but def. not waterproof.)

Hard Candy, Too Faced, Juice Beauty, Murad, OPI, and many more are on the no-test safe list!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am treating my heartbreak at Shoe Pavilion going bankrupt (which I discovered yesterday when I went there and it was practically empty) by shopping online. I just got these [link] Blue suede shoes FTW!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Shir! Did you know there's a new 33 1/3 book out about The Afghan Whigs' Gentlemen?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I did! My friend's husband wrote that.

Say it isn't so! [link] don't get me wrong. I'm a HUGE Zep fan. But. One guy dead, and another not wanting to tour... just say no. And quite frankly, without Plant, it just would not be the same. He is the voice! Didn't we learn anything from the Doors tour a few years back???

What? I'm working. Really.

Absolutely. The ghost of Christmas Past can dress in Stevie Nicks chiffon scarves and the ghost of Christmas Future can wear a red plastic Devo hat.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

it is perfect velvet weather, so I hope GG is wearing hers!

I did enjoy it...to the nines! Dark, hunter green, velvet victorian styled jacket; gorgeous velvet skirt; ruffle blouse, suade boots with button trim...one of my students said I looked a little like Mary Poppins.

High today was 65 and even though I had to endure the evil orb, the sky was a beautiful blue.

I'm loving the plans for Christmas Carol and so wish I could stay and discuss. It is Hub's birthday and I'm spending the evening with him.

Night, all!
