The King of Cups expects a picnic. But this is not his birthday!

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am treating my heartbreak at Shoe Pavilion going bankrupt (which I discovered yesterday when I went there and it was practically empty) by shopping online. I just got these [link] Blue suede shoes FTW!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Shir! Did you know there's a new 33 1/3 book out about The Afghan Whigs' Gentlemen?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I did! My friend's husband wrote that.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Say it isn't so! [link] don't get me wrong. I'm a HUGE Zep fan. But. One guy dead, and another not wanting to tour... just say no. And quite frankly, without Plant, it just would not be the same. He is the voice! Didn't we learn anything from the Doors tour a few years back???

What? I'm working. Really.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Should we give Marley the "Thriller" leather jacket then?

Absolutely. The ghost of Christmas Past can dress in Stevie Nicks chiffon scarves and the ghost of Christmas Future can wear a red plastic Devo hat.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

it is perfect velvet weather, so I hope GG is wearing hers!

I did enjoy it...to the nines! Dark, hunter green, velvet victorian styled jacket; gorgeous velvet skirt; ruffle blouse, suade boots with button trim...one of my students said I looked a little like Mary Poppins.

High today was 65 and even though I had to endure the evil orb, the sky was a beautiful blue.

I'm loving the plans for Christmas Carol and so wish I could stay and discuss. It is Hub's birthday and I'm spending the evening with him.

Night, all!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

It's perfect velvet weather here. Low 50's and not too bright.

eta: obviously not too bright 'cause it's dark, but during the day it was not too bright.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Holy shit. Jilli did you see this on Coilhouse? Tim Curry (with bat bow tie) on the Worst Witch Singing "Anything Can Happen on Halloween" on this 1986 TV special. With a young Fairuza Balk.

I saw the post, but I haven't actually watched the video yet.

Tim's in fine voice, the effects are ridiculous. It's all a bit ridiculous, and yet...it's Tim Curry so it's oddly sexy too.
