Laga, I'm sorry for the family drama.
I just wrote an extremely hard e-mail to my dad and ended up letting a bit too much of my personal pity party into it - which really won't help the situation. I know better than to write and hit send without sitting and rereading. Crap. Now with the tears.

Well at this point I don't ever want to see my sister or her bf again. Hell I don't want to hear their voices on my answering machine. But her bf is my roommate's dad. Roommate drives dad's car, pays his insurance and we have his dog. Sister feels she has the right to come over and walk the dog whenever she feels like it. Well fuck her, she just lost that right. I might have to move out over this which would totally screw over my roommate who is entirely blameless. I am glad I don't own a shotgun.

I have decided that it is OK to be selfish in this stituation so when I get home I am going to tell my roommate that my sister and his father are banned from our property. Then if I feel like a meltdown I'm calling the 24 hour employee assistance hotline provided by my company.
Back from a great dinner (and beer!) with Ginger. As usual, great conversation and good food. You should all come visit her.
