Sunnydale's got too many demons and not enough retail outlets.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

(((((Teppy))))) Panic attacks are freaky and scary. I hope that Tim is home with you. If you don't have anything you can take for one, I would seriously suggest having a glass of something alcoholic. It's not a permenant solution, but before I had anxiety meds I found that it would slow down my body enough to stop the cycle of the attack and allow reason to return.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I've never had a panic attack before, and now I've had 2 today.

I'm going to vote this is one panic attack with a lull in the middle. Seriously.

And I hope you can take some solace in the fact that Part II was brought on (in some part) by Impending Kink Bureaucracy. Because that really is sort of bad-ass.

Our wings are not tired.

{{Teppy}} I am so sorry you are having such a tough time. I wish I could drive over and distract you. But you live in that other voting challenged swing state and are too far away!

Please let Tim know what is going on. He would want to know. Maybe he can come home for a bit and get you settled with a comfort DVD and a glass of wine or beer, and then go back to the event.

Please take care of yourself and know that this will pass. All kinds of soothing and comforting thoughts are headed your way.

The landlord and the plumber did not show up today. Grr. We could have gotten so many more errands done today if we didn't have to make the apartment landlord ready.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I feel like a total meme dork coming in and changing the subject. I fought of my anxieties and went for my karate test this evening. I am now a yellow belt. I made it through the test without freaking out and didn't feel like a noodle when I was done. YAY.

Yay, Suzi! Congratulations!

Yay Suzi!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yay for Suzi's yellow belt.

Not so yay for Teppy's anxiety attack. I wish there was an easy fix for that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If you want the rundown on dark polishes, ask Plei. I refuse to acknowledge nail polish that isn't black. Unless it's black with red micro glitter.

Not even charcoal nail polish? MAC had some that looked decent, but it doesn't go with my skin tone as well as I wish. The Vintage Vamp that I got is GREAT. I'm very happy with it. The lipstick will take some getting used to. It's more purple than I normally wear. And very matte. Is matte in? Because I'm still entranced with a hookery gloss. I have a lovely overgloss I use--I forget the vendor.

Congrats Suzi!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

When I was in high school, I had this dark grey nail polish from Urban Decay that drove my mother nuts. Which may have been part of the reason I wore it so often. I think it was called Gunmetal. I have no idea if they still make it, though.
