holy cow, the zombie of my ex was here at the theatre tonight. He had the same face only gaunt, the same hair only sparse and wild and the same gait only with a slight shamble. It was freaky but also kinda cool to imagine it was really him.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
It is too early to be up. Back to school for teachers today. Kids start next Monday. I'm really hoping today isn't too awful; however, with Draconian Dictator in charge of the day, I'm not holding my breath.
Have a good first day back, GG!
I took the ativan last night before bed and slept slighly better.
Jars sighting! I’m so sorry I missed you guys. I was seriously bummed. At least I saw you last trip!
Owen would say, "Now we're going to San Prancisco to see Mommy!" Ooof.
Oh, that’s a punch in even my gut!
I took the ativan last night before bed and slept slighly better.
Oh, good!
I’m drinking some coffee then getting right to work. I have MUCH school work to do over the next two weeks.
ARGH. Okay, so my mother, for reasons that are too long (and too fucking stupid) to go into, does not have a driver's license right now. Usually not a problem for her, since my dad doesn't have a problem driving her around. I refuse to deal with her bullshit, because she lets her driver's license lapse because she doesn't like to drive. Now, my dad recently had knee surgery, so can't drive.
Saturday, my dad calls and asks me to take my mother to the grocery store (have they never heard of peapod). So, I show up at 4:30, she has neglected to tell me that the place closes at 5. So, we arrange to go at 7AM. I'm about to leave the house when I notice that I have a message, which I did not when i went to bed. It's my mother, it's an emergency. Turns out that she's having some sort of tooth issue, so we can't go to the store. then, she tells me that she "needs" me to drive her to the dentist, which is 15 minutes from her house. Please note that I live 30 minutes away from her, and I have to drive in rush hour to get there. I am annoyed. Now, it's possible that she would have called me even if she'd had her driver's license, but I wouldn't have been so annoyed. (and, I will still have to drive her stupid ass to the grocery store at a later date)
Oh, Vortex. That is not a pleasant way to start the week!
Oh, geez Vortex. Seriously crap Monday morning.
I am up because, shockingly, I never did clean last night. So sad that the deadline of going in to work is the only thing that gets me to break out the cleaning supplies. Oh, well.
I take back anything bad I've ever said about Detroit's airport. They have a collection of chairs right next to the starbucks that is perfect for sleeping. I grabbed a two hour nap there and am now waiting at my gate.
Mac user with Word 2004 for Mac who edits articles created in Word 2008 (or, at least, *tries* to edit articles created in Word 2008)
I updated to 2008 because we needed a multi-user Word for the kids to have it on their computers. I fucking loathe the docx.- so I set my preferences to save to .doc. Let's see if it takes because if there's anything I've discovered about this version of Word, is that it's unstable.
Signed, missing Word 2004.
Uh-huh. And I'm cleaning my kitchen and living room. See how it sparkles?!
Like an emo-vampire!
Need more coffee. Clearly.
Vortex, much patience ~ma. Hang in there, sweetie-- matricide never a good thing.
Vortex, you remind me how happy I am to live an 8 hour drive from my parents.
