Yeah, that does sound likely. I did some impressive damage to my ankle once, but it was a rolling injury, not a bang.

Okay, I did it two separate times to both ankles, but only one required surgery.

I asked because I had the same type of thing, where I was almost fine moving the foot up and down and standing and walking, but twisting my ankle was problematic. Mine was a tendon injury, though, and I don't see how you could have done that by banging it.

I LOVE THAT SONG! And the video! That was my themesong/favourite song in my first year of University - I just adored it beyond the telling. I think I may sit here and watch it again and again and again and again and again. It's got that whole Wicked Lady thing going on, but with Annie Lennox in the Margaret Lockwood role, and with more of a Dangerous Liaisons aesthetic. And Laurie and Malkovitch! In powder and wigs! Gah!

I finally got so overwhelmed by the house manager of the place I work at on Mondays and Tuesdays being so negative (constant whining - either about the residents, or to the residents, or about other staff) that I told her outright her attitude not only causes the residents to have increased maladaptive behaviors, but also it is overwhelming for me. What I did not tell her was that there was a period of time this evening when I wished I was at liberty to go hang around with the resident who was shrieking, because it would be more peaceful than her constant spewing forth.

I got a lot of crap from both genders but my cruelest tormentor was a boy and the one cool kid who stuck up for me was a girl. Incidentally, my cruellest tormentor, Matt Holt, was the head of the 20-year reunion committee.

Goodness, so much going on today! I'm terribly behind, so I'll just send healing~ma to Barb, coping ~ma to Brenda (and more healing~ma to Lucy), and baby~ma to GC and her DW. Also, Laga, I'm all for getting healthier and feeling better, but let me echo everyone else in saying that I hardly think 18 lbs in 6 years is anything to worry about. Seriously!

Oh, and you people made me all nostalgic for Lost Boys. "Cry Little Sister" was one of the songs I obsessed over for months and months when I was a teen. LOVED that song.
