Ooooh,
Walking on Broken Glass!
I LOVE THAT SONG! And the video! That was my themesong/favourite song in my first year of University - I just adored it beyond the telling. I think I may sit here and watch it again and again and again and again and again. It's got that whole
Wicked Lady
thing going on, but with Annie Lennox in the Margaret Lockwood role, and with more of a
Dangerous Liaisons
aesthetic. And Laurie and Malkovitch! In powder and wigs! Gah!
is slain.

...I think I had another point, but it's gone now.

In my experience, while boys can be cruel, girls tend to take it to the nth degree when choosing to be or act evil.
I was a fat girl in an urban public school. Guess who gave me more crap. Hint: the genitals were external.
Barb, I hope your ankle heals up quickly.
I finally got so overwhelmed by the house manager of the place I work at on Mondays and Tuesdays being so negative (constant whining - either about the residents, or to the residents, or about other staff) that I told her outright her attitude not only causes the residents to have increased maladaptive behaviors, but also it is overwhelming for me. What I did not tell her was that there was a period of time this evening when I wished I was at liberty to go hang around with the resident who was shrieking, because it would be more peaceful than her constant spewing forth.
I got a lot of crap from both genders but my cruelest tormentor was a boy and the one cool kid who stuck up for me was a girl. Incidentally, my cruellest tormentor, Matt Holt, was the head of the 20-year reunion committee.

...this so needs to be the soundtrack to a fanvid.
Probably a Clex one. Or a Wesleycentric one, after he got his throat slit and everyone abandoned him. With Lilah. And...yeah.
...God, I wish I could make vids.
Hey Fay, did you spot how many acutely British entries were among those videos? The person compiling it had to be a Brit, surely.
ETA: Oh wait, the
Walking on Broken Glass
vid was from Youtube. Nebbermind. So I will simply leave you with - Hi Fay!
Heal-ma to Barb's ankle.
And baby-ma to GC and DW.
::waves to Pete::
Goodness, so much going on today! I'm terribly behind, so I'll just send healing~ma to Barb, coping ~ma to Brenda (and more healing~ma to Lucy), and baby~ma to GC and her DW. Also, Laga, I'm all for getting healthier and feeling better, but let me echo everyone else in saying that I hardly think 18 lbs in 6 years is
anything
to worry about. Seriously!
Oh, and you people made me all nostalgic for
Lost Boys.
"Cry Little Sister" was one of the songs I obsessed over for months and months when I was a teen. LOVED that song.
t tacklesmooches Pete just 'cuz
Much baby-making~ma for GC and DW.
Belated greetings.
I'm still clearing out the studio and rearranging bookshelves.

...just before Pete's super Ninja skills kicked in, where he thought all was lost. Who says MI-6 is useless. That's Jilli, PeteHusbandOf Jilli. Dry martini please.
What? So I gotta get out more. Stupid work.
So it seems my DVD burning woes that occupied the better part of 8 or so hours into the wee hours of the morning was due to media. Yup, the new MacBook (well, new a few months ago) doesn't seem to like the same brand DVD+R's as the few years old iMac. Can't we all just get along?
I'm thinking we need to have a 3-legged animal party at the next F2F. Can you imagine the airport workers faces when they see *another* 3-legged pet? Could be entertaining to people watch that day. IJS.
Tomorrow is opening on the latest show, and I'm kidnapping Daisey Jane and company to join me! FINALLY! Seeing someone that DOESN"T work with me! Yipee!
There was more, but brain still tired.
Oh wait! I remembered! I was told about something that we may wish to borrow the Asgard beaming technology for, to beam to Buffista island. [link]

If only it was a bit more affordable. I wonder if they do a group rate. Can you imagine a F2F there? Oh my. Heaven. If only it was more affordable.
