We got Owen a betta because they have one in his classroom. He named it Jenna. Yesterday, Liv dumped the whole can of food into his bowl so I had to clean it out. They're pretty easy to care for.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
DH thinks pygmy goats are doable. I nearly beat him to death.
And rightly so. But remember... orange jumpsuits, babe.
Pygmy goats, indeed. Good heavens!
I'm going to the library to vote early today with GF. Then tomorrow we may attend the Obama visit to Palm Beach CC wearing our 'I Voted' stickers. We'll see today if there are any tickets left. The tickets are to be picked up next door to where we vote. Woo!
DH is waiting until the big vote day because he is convinced the county will screw up the early votes somehow. I am convinced they will screw up in November. One of us will likely be right. The Supervisor of Elections post is up again this time. We just can't seem to get it right.

Is it pygmy goats that will keep your lawn nice?
I want fainting goats!!
But remember... orange jumpsuits, babe.
No parent would convict her.
Orange definitely isn't my color and those jumpsuits would make me look hideous and huge. Good enough reason to control fist of death.

I just watched "Recount" last week and thought, they sure made the elections guy seem likable for being so inefficient. And I just realized that the reason he seemed familiar is that he was Hechler in Boomtown (slightly less likable!).
I'm having a possible "step away from the shopping channel" moment and need some advice.
My house is sad and dreary. After living here for 10 years, the carpet is sad and the walls are cracked (old building shifting) and dreary.
I also want to start using my great room as a workshop venue but feel it is too...yes, I'll say it again, sad and dreary.
I've never painted a room and am nervous about doing so. But I've been giving it a lot of thought. Then, I got a spam email about a 'revolutionary new painting tool' that might just solve my problem.
Have anyone ever used the Point 'n Paint ?
Is it the scam I'm afraid it might be?
Oooh, Recount! Written by my Super Seekrit Boyfriend, Danny Strong!
