Oh, I get it. You just don't like who did the rescuing, that's all. Wishin' I was your boyfriend what's-his-height. Oh wait, he's run off.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Also, it would be really weird if Vortex actually has a hand crocheted, granny-squares, white and flowery bedspread. It was pretty, but not exactly the style I would have guessed.

Go home, Suzi.

And if you don't, take it easy.

I realize that if I were sharing an apartment with Vortex, and I was going to leave for a few months, we would work out ahead of time a plan for paying for stuff, and if I didn't follow through on my end of it, You would certainly tell me before I was three months behind.

Yep, you're right. Of course, I would be so excited by being your roommate that I would forgive ;)

Nope, it's a silk duvet with grey, silver, and blue color blocks.

Awww. When I saw you were my roommate, I was soooooo relieved. I knew everything was gonna be ok, in spite of not being able to remember anything. And now I'm kinda sad we didn't get to be roommates in college.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Oh dear heavens, one night of reasonable sleep is not enough. I just found myself weeping from reading a fic in which a ship got just one night together. Too, too exhausted. Staff meeting tomorrow morning - Do. Not. Want.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Happy birthday, d!

I'm not anywhere near processing the news about my friend, but I've decided yesterday that I need to live really well. Like really, really, really well, and enjoy and appreciate every single moment, and be brave and daring and cheeky and cook and drink. For her. And make sure the plans we made together will come true.

On the bright side, I've seen our lovely Nilly lecturing today about the Buffyverse in the biggest local SF&F convention, ICon. It was awesome.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Make sure you do it for you too, you know? Be happy for two of you. (I'm quite literally weeping for you right now, btw)
