[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I went out to Eastern Standard again last night- I cannot resist their Pimms cocktails! We got the bone marrow; the raclette (baked up cheese with apple and other stuff); a salad that included a poached egg, pork bits, and sweetbreads; and the charcutierie plate that had a couple different pates, a headcheese, pork rillette, some crazy sausage, and housemade beef jerky.
I am full of meat and feel ready to travel with Anthony Bourdain.
Nora, that sounds offal.
They do have an offal of the day offering but I did not enquire.
So, I had one kid today, and he left at 2:10. So much for working till 5:30! Not that I'm complaining. It's gorgeous outside, and I can use some free time, but it was kind of humorous.

ugh, sj. I'm so sorry.
I have a funny feeling I'm going to have to borrow about $6K at the end of the year to cover my tuition (I get refunded after the class is finished) and I'm nervous that I won't be able to get a loan!
I'm trying to think if it might make more sense to borrow it from a relative but I hate to ask in these times, even my more well off relatives.

My former Wells cronies have informed me that they are giving money to no one. Absolutely no one. I'm sorry, sj.
I'm not sure the student loan industry is in quite the same predicament as the housing and banking industries, but it may depend on where you get your loan.
I was gonna hit up my credit union...
