That's right, it did pay. I forgot all about that. Another nice side benefit was being able to vote without having to stand in the looooong line outside when I showed up for my shift.
'Never Leave Me'
Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Happy birthday a day late, Omnis!
I just can't help to think from time to time she just wished to see me with someone. Male, female, doesn't even matter to her at that point*.
Heh, if you did pair off with a female, why then her potential grandchildren could have TWO Jewish mothers - what's not to love!
Yesterday she had a full-out tantrum when I put her in time out.
From the sound of it, I'd guess there is a 98% chance she has learned that escalating the tantrum gets her what she wants, and a 2% chance that the main problem is in her neurotransmitter balance. This is not counting the possible diagnosed neurotransmitter imbalance that might be the excuse that her parents use to get them out of the responsibility of handling tantrums without giving in.
Um. I wonder how many kids they had? Either way. HILARIOUS!
I don't remember if it was four or five. But not none.
Billytea, your Mother should have suggested they try it the other way.
Happy Birthday, omnis!
happy b-day, omnis
Happy Birthday, o_a !!
thank you thank you thank you :)
So for the election day polling, is there training? Just trying to get a sense of time commitment.
ION, I left my cell phone at home. I feel naked. and I have another 12 hour work day. with no internet on my hip. t/1stworldproblems
Happy belated natal day, omnis!
I actually signed up to be an election worker this year. As a federally-funded company, my employment makes me fall under the Hatch Act, so I can't actively work for a particular candidate.
But since there were so many newly registered Democrats in VA that some of them weren't able to vote in the primaries due to a shortage of poll workers, I figure my non-partisan participation might actually help a certain candidate, while still being legal.
ANYWAY, I have to be there at 5:00 am and stay until after the polls close, and they pay me $100. I'm planning on bringing my laptop, and/or a book.

I'm sure it varies from place to place. You should call your election board.
Happy birthday!

Not that I want you to be overworked but I'm hoping it'll be too busy for you to look at either!
