Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I found out some random baseball news related to work -- one of my coworker's brother in law pitches for the Red Sox. I didn't ask the name since I don't follow baseball but I should have.

Oooh, find out who!

ION, I am an idiot. I totally forgot with the car trouble today that I was having groceries delivered. Of course they showed up in the one half hour I was gone during the 4 hour window.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Isn't that one of Murphy's Laws?

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Oh no, sj! Did you get them? Did they take the groceries back with them? Do you have to get the car fixed, or can it be traded without the fix? I'm sorry for all the frustration this has caused you.

Sox, I went and took a nap, and just now answered your email. It eased the frustration, but was only the precursor of the Wicked Cold Greg brought home.

sj, I hope you did get everything worked out with the car and the groceries. I'm sorry you had such frustrations.

The car is fixed. It cost me about $150 less than I am trading in the car for. The driver with the groceries is not answering the dispatcher's call. So, I'll probably not going to get them until Thursday because I cannot be here tomorrow.

Taz is home from the vet- $400 to determine he has a fever of mysterious origins. They are analyzing a few tests and we'll see what we shall see. They gave him a subcuteneous fluid thing and a shot of penicillin.

Nora, btdt, and I'm sorry. Both my older cats has mysterious illnesses that were really bad and we never figured out what caused them. ABs and sub-qs and appetite stimulants and $$ until they got back to normal.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Nora, btdt, and I'm sorry.

Me too, in both. I hope he perks up quickly.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I skippity skipped a bunch to make sure Fay's OK... any word?

& to say I love my roomie. I texted him to see if it would be OK for me to put up a "vote no on prop 8" sign in our yard & when he said sure I said, "you rock!" to which he replied, "Equal rights rock, Jack White rocks. I'm just a dude."

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I'm good, thanks - yesterday morning there were mutterings that maybe we'd all go home because of the violence, but we stayed all day, and I've been here all day today too. Really, for the most part I'm only walking from my apartment to school and staying at school, and we're a long way from all the protests, so (touch wood) so far, so good.

Honestly, though, I don't see how this can have a happy resolution. The protestors' demands just aren't viable, as far as I can see - I mean, they're probably right that the new guy is a Thaksin stooge, but what they're suggesting still isn't actually democratic either.

Ah, fun fun fun.
