Well, quite a lot of fuss. If I didn't know better, I'd think we were dangerous.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yeah, juliana, if you're gonna go arse-over-teakettle, let it be in love rather than on the road.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh my Nora, that sounds wonderful. The two of you really deserve a glorious date night.

Car parts count as romantic with me, Daniel. You are a most excellent boyfriend.

I caught up with TDS, well through 9/29 anyway. Watched 3 or 4 of them to unwind after a long day's work. So much fun.

Also, got to meet my son's girlfriend since she needed a ride home from the movie. I pull up in her driveway and the car has 2 bumper stickers, No Bushit and an Obama/Biden. And they had an Obama lawn sign too. I was already charmed by her playing her parents ringtones for Brendon on the ride. Her mom's ringtone for dad is Let's Get It On and her dad's ringtone for her mom is Baby Got Back. So Brendon asks her if her mom has a big butt, and she answers, "oh, yeah." She was basically adorable and kissed me when she thanked me for the ride home.

eta: so Nora supplies the food porn, then juliana with the aromatic sensory follow up - nice

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

So much word.

:: opens door for parade of snugglers :: Oh ya, I'm in Texas, they don't have parades for us left leaning champions of truth. Better close it before the lynch mob recognizes me.

That dinner sounds FAB!!

Yay whirlygig!

Shopping lists help tremendously when shopping hungry. I forget who suggested potasium/sports drink for my salt craving, but thank you. Now I got this bag of Ruffles, and not so much of the craving anymore. Oh well. Not like it will go bad.

Since the libraries computer reserve system screwed up, giving me only disc 5 of SG-1season 9, I'm watching baseball instead. I'm sure the other 4 discs will become available when I'm in tech working 14 hour days.

Argh. I wanted to watch the commentary on the House DVDs tonight, but my DVD player is being a pain and skipping and pausing and stuff. I can get about five seconds of show followed by about ten seconds of garbage. It was working fine when I was watching the silly things like the blooper reel, but now that I want to watch an actual episode, not working.

maybe the disc is dirty or scratched. Take a look at the bottom side. If it has ick, wipe with a clean soft cloth from center out, not in circles.

I don't think it's the disc. Thanks, though. It's happened with a few different discs. Usually, hitting pause, then rewinding for a few seconds and then playing again will fix it, but this time, nothing is working.

This is a dual DVD/VCR, and lately, neither side has been working right. The VCR has been refusing to eject tapes -- it'll push the tape out, and then a second later, pull it back in. The only way to actually get a tape out is to grab it in the second that it's out, and then hold on while the VCR tries to pull it back in. Also, for some reason, the power button isn't working -- every time I turn it off, it turns back on a second later.

My mom was asking me a little while ago what I wanted for my birthday. I think I might be asking for a new DVD player. (What I really want is a digital SLR, but that's way to expensive for a birthday that's not a round number. So, either wait two more years for 30 (yikes!), or maybe it could be for graduation. Getting a doctorate deserves a digital SLR, right?)

All is well that ends in pizza.

Gas prices dropped to $2.999 in some parts of Minnesota today.

Hmmmm.
