I stole your sleep, SuziQ. I'd say I was sorry, but, well . . .
Now I'm up drinking coffee while watching the rain pour down. I don't really have to be anywhere in the near future (there's more coffee in the pot—why would I leave?). It's all very relaxing.

For a few brief hours, internet is free on the ship. I have to play the disembark-embark dance in about an hour (got to clear customs before turning around and getting back on the ship...at which point internet will be spendy again), but I wanted to pop in while I could and say hi to everyone. I am hopelessly behind everywhere. What's going on?
Wars, olympic games, tech support. The good, the bad and the ugly.
Kristin! Are you having a nice, relaxing time?
What's going on?
Wallybee and I just got back from seeing Wicked, so I've been having a good evening.
Oh, billytea, didn't you just LOVE it?
billytea, I went to see that in LA last week - it was great, I thought.
Oh, billytea, didn't you just LOVE it?
We did rather. I can see why it's popular here. Interestingly, Wallybee actually found Glinda the more engaging character.
I'm glad you had a good birthday, Aims.
Yeah, the universe should go spend all its time picking on Cheney and lay off Drew and family.
I love Little Debbie snacks
Back when I was a student publications adviser, the students doing an all-night production of the humor magazine decided that for sustenance they'd buy every single type of Little Debbie snack. When I came in in the morning, the production room was littered with half-eaten remains.
Kristin! Are you having a nice, relaxing time?
Hi! For the most part, yes. I've been helping Drew and the Nick folks out where I can to get ready for this charter, so I haven't been relaxing all of the time. And honestly, the expensive internet is a bit stressful since I'm still trying to keep on top of the online class. But still, can't beat the office!! It's beautiful everywhere we've gone, and the food is yum. I think I've gained five pounds this week alone.
I'm bummed that I'm missing the Olympics, though.
Ah,
Wicked.
Love that show. I saw it on Broadway a few years ago and really enjoyed it. And how can you not love Glinda? "Popular" is the funniest song in the show. I'm so glad I got to see Kristin Chenoweth playing that role.
Yeah, the universe should go spend all its time picking on Cheney and lay off Drew and family.
Thanks, Ginger. That's the other huge stressor right now that I am trying very hard not to fret about too much. We haven't heard anything new since Friday, which could be good or bad. It's hard to know.
