Mom, too, Cashmere. But then, she's biased. She thinks I'm as smart as Rachel.
Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
no - the chances of it being a bomb were minimal - I was inconvenienced by not being able to go out (I brought my lunch - yay!). Your actual problems are somewhat worse than my hypothetically possible problem. (may the fever and the heat diminish and the teaching become easier)
What is this with high school teachers running fevers? I think it should stop.
I don't teach highschool or have a fever, but I'm starting to think I might have pinkeye. (My eyes don't itch, but they're alternately really dry and really gunky, and I don't have any other allergy-like symptoms. And my pupils are mega-dialiated for no apparent reason.)
Thanks everyone. I just felt bad that Mom missed a day of work for nothing. But we ended up cleaning and doing errands. So, it worked out ok. She's currently washing my floor. I should feel bad, but it seems to be making her very happy. Also, my back is acting up.
I have no fever. I DO have a student who believes fervently that the country is being robbed of hundreds of millions of dollars by people with twenty kids on welfare, and that if people don't find a job they should be deported. He suggested sending them to Russia. May have raised my temperature a bit.
Oy.

Oooh... sounds good. Think I'll take myself home and have a ginger wine and vodka tonic.
Dude, I feel contaminated now, reading that *you* heard that. The stupid of that is painful.
