Steph, I can't say I understood the fine details, but I recognize a "world. WTF" post when I see one. Do whatever you need to do to take care of your health (staring at Sean while typing the last sentence).
Laga... dammit. If you can move without too much trouble, I say do it. No point getting stuck in the middle of a fucked up relationship if you can avoid it. Good luck with keeping the poker face on till Friday, and happy birthday to your mom. Also, if you need me to come over and smack you sister for her choice in men, I'd happily do so, and explain lengthily to her the art of keeping unhealthy crushes and infatuations to strictly fictional characters (arms up if you totally fell for The Joker in the last Batman. Caleb has also warm, fuzzy, possibly handcuffy corner of my heart. I love them like a 15 year old cheerleader loves the captain of her school team: blindly, with absolute devotion, and from far away without any relation to the person they might be IRL).
Now I wanna go and listen to "Number Nine" of The Twilight Singers again, for no particular reason, while having a cup of hot chocolate. "I'm gonna make you blind... yeah yeah yeah yeah!"
Edit: I may have problem with s' now. They keep falling from my posts...
Shir has some good ideas on how to handle Laga's sister. I'd chip in for airfair. BTW, lots of cash prize vibeage for Laga.
I want whirligigs.
ETA: If we get enough of them, we can use them to beat some sense into Teppy's doc's office staff.
If you get the whirligig of time, you can totally bring in its revenges!
If we got ENOUGH whirligigs, maybe we could set up our own alternate energy system (to power the computers at Buffista Academy?).
Today, not so much good for many it seems. {{Sean}} Fist-shaking for Teppy.
But, Yay for vw!!!
Today has been okay for me. My 2nd and 3rd period classes are pissing me off at their lack of effort on things and ended up having some Talks today.
Then I felt a full-blown migraine coming on. Nausea, the whole works. Tracked down Ms. M who usually has good drugs in her desk. Feel marginally better. Headache, muscle aches are still there. Nausea is at bay.
Then, choreographed the first song of the show I'm directing. Went v. well and the kids are really working it. Made migraine a bit worse, though.
Now, I'm prepping for my 6th graders. Who are total spazzes. Usually fun spazzes, but today, the spaz level will, I suspect, make my head worse.
PixK, I am STILL having lingering crap from that stupid cold, so I feel your pain. But I can't help but remember you poking at my whining and reminding me you went through pneumonia. So, I poke back...
I did?? I hope I was kidding around, because I would really be a bitch and a half if I had compared your cold to my former bout with pneumonia in a serious way. Sick is sick. It's never fun.
Laga, that sucks. I'm sorry about the fact that you are being put in an uncomfortable living situation yet again. Also, good luck on the game show tomorrow! I wish I could be there!
Tep, sorry to hear about the problems with the doctor's office. I've been pretty lucky with the assistants and receptionists at medical offices over the years, so I'm sorry to hear you're dealing with less than helpful folks.
ChiKat, I hope the migraine leaves quickly. Poor thing.
Shir, I meant to say earlier safety and health~ma to your sister and coping~ma to you and your family.
And because it deserves its own post, Shanah Tovah!
Joe is of the brilliant. Love the bunny dude! There was more, but I forgot to tab, and I really should be working. pffft. Somebody crack the whip... o wait. With this crowd, that could be something entirely different. nevermind.
