You'll fight, and you'll shag, and you'll hate each other till it makes you quiver, but you'll never be friends.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Sean, that sounds like a horror movie. I am really sorry that you're both going through this.

The status is NOT quo.

Sean, I'm very sorry to hear that. It's horrific, and I can completely understand your reluctance to leave her alone. Still, though, I am concerned about the impact this is having on you. Is S's mother still there? Why is this falling on you when you broke up two months ago? The more time that passes, the more I worry that you are caught in a horrible limbo that may not break for months. You need to make room for yourself in your life, and you have to find some way to move foreward. And I'm so sorry if this is coming across as unsolicited advice and will do my best to shut up about it after I post this, but I have seen you several times in the past two weeks, and you seem incredibly fragile. I am so worried about you.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Had a saga getting dinner tonight. well, first, I was supposed to leave the theatre at 5, but it seems that there was only one person there later, so I had to stay through the top of the second show -- 8:30. Ordered some dinner from what I thought was the vietnamese restaurant I liked. I get there, realize that the name is slightly different -- different number in the "Pho" part. Plus, the phone number isn't right. I get on the iphone, figure out the number of the place that I actually ordered from.(turns out that they've moved to a bigger place, and another vietnamese restuarant moved in) I call them, figure out where they are. I get to Hudson Street, can't find the restaurant. Go up to the next block, which is also Hudson Street, find the restaurant. I get to the door and . . . THERE'S A MCCAIN STICKER ON THE DOOR. I was horrified. i considered leaving, but they had my phone number. And I was hungry. I didn't tip though ;)

{{{Sean & S}}} I can't imagine how horrible stressful this has been for you, Sean. You're in my thoughts, and thanks for updating us here.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Jesus H Christ, Sean.

What Kristin said, though. I'm gutted for the pair of you, and I can't even imagine how you must be feeling right now - and I'm not saying you should leave her in the lurch, but I do want you to make damn sure that you're giving yourself some you time too. Because the doctors and nurses are there for S 24/7. And I'm not expressing myself well here. I respect and admire the hell out of you for stepping up and being there for her, and I don't mean to take away from that, but I also want to whisk you off to the park, or feed you chicken soup and make you watch DVDs, or something. Which, not so much viable until MM develops that matter transporter, so you make sure YOU do some of that, 'kay?

Happy Birthday, Nicole!!!

I spent today cleaning and organizing the apartment. I made a small dent in the clutter at least, and the bills are in a nice little pile to be dealt with tomorrow. Then we went to visit TCG's step-grandmother in the hospital. She looked great and was her usual amazing self. Tomorrow they run tests to try to find out where the internal bleeding is happening.

Tomorrow we do our other hospital visit to see J. So far it sounds like he is doing very well. He was allowed to walk around today, which I am sure made him very happy, and he may be out of the ICU as early as tomorrow. We stopped by the $100 store to get him some coloring books and crayons and a long sleeve t-shirt that pictures a puppy with devil horns and says "Little Devil". TCG and I quickly agreed that the t-shirt was screaming J's name.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I was worried you might be still consumed by S's medical needs, Sean. I hope you can soon be free of this burden in a healthy way. Much medical~ma for S, and freedom from guilt ~ma for you.

Vortex, I hope the new non-McCain supporting Vietnamese restaurant turns out to have good food, also.
