Jilli, thanks for posting that. I was going to ask you for more info on your boots.
Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
And I *think* I love Peeps. I love the idea of them, but I haven't actually eaten any for years and years, because apparently SOMEONE thinks I get a little too manic when I have that much sugar.
That's odd because I LOVE Lucky Charms! Petrified marshmallow goodness in cute shapes and colors!
Me too! Perhaps the extra petrification and much smaller size make them more palatable.
Y'know, I don't think I've ever had Lucky Charms, either. The only time I ever had sugary cereal as a kid was at summer camp, and I don't think Lucky Charms were kosher.
Oh, and because I really am that wacky, here is the LJ post I made about The Boots when I got them. [link]
My mom totally let us have sugar cereal, God love her. My faves were Lucky Charms, Cap'n Crunch Crunch Berries, and Cookie Crisp. YUM!
My mom didn't allow sugary cereal at all. I generally ate either Cheerios or Corn Flakes for breakfast at home. The first few days of summer camp, I'd eat the Froot Loops and Apple Jacks and Frosted Flakes, but after a while I'd go back to Cheerios and Corn Flakes.
Thanks, Jilli. I can't wear any kind of heel, but I'll check to see what else they have.
ftr I do love Circus Peanuts, and citrus slices, too.
At first Mom wouldn't let us have any cereal that had sugar as the first ingredient so I loved sleeping over at Heidi Petersen's house 'cause her parents let her have Cookie Crisp. When Mom realised how many different names there were for sugar we lost access to a lot of our favorite cereals, Pops, Honeycomb and Smacks (nee Super Sugar Smacks!)
I like the Urban Decay 24/7 liner. It does smudge after crying, but it cleans up, too.
Thirding.
I've been wearing it for over a year now (maybe longer), and although my penny-pinching soul quails at paying more than $5 for eyeliner, it's really, really worth it. It does. not. budge. And I say that as former Queen of Smudgy Eyeliner, since I get all hot and sweaty easily, which makes most eyeliner smudge. Not the 24/7 liner. It's a thing of beauty, and I don't begrudge them a penny of their $16.
ION, I have vegetarian shepherd's pie* in the oven, and it smells SO GOOD. It needs to be ready now.
*(Made out of vegetarian shepherds. They were a little tough to fit in the meat grinder, but the freshness makes all the difference in the end result....)
