Well, then, this is a day I'll feel good to be me.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

“Not dead yet!”

I am dealing with people who are flush with teh stoopit today. And after such a good start to the day, too.

Our wings are not tired.

Happy Birthday to the Empress!

I'm kinda packing. I need to get more serious about this project. DH has decided to tow the smaller boat down to do some work on it over the winter. So we changed the rental vehicle to a bigger one with tow capability. Will probably leave about 4am or so and crash for the night in Chapel Hill. Take off again in the wee hours to get back home by early evening. Yeah, packing, should get on that.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Cute baby pictures!

Happy birthday, Aimee!

We used to play team handball in high school gym class. Broke my glasses once, when I got hit in the face. (Just broke the frames, not the lenses.)

I just went on an Olympics-inspired bike ride. Was fun. Rode along the river for a bit, then along the canal for a bit. I like the canal path a lot better, but it's not paved, so it's a bit tougher on a bike. Then I stopped for ice cream on the way back, which was also fun.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Me too. Especially since they stopped using lard in the creme formula.

What?

Oreos, too. However, I find that I much prefer the Trader Joe's version of Oreos (Joe-Joes).

Twinkies never really thrilled me, actually. I reserved my cake sweet tooth for chocolaty things, for the most part. For instance, Hoho's, Suzy Q's and Ding Dong's.

And when I was a teenager, I was bananas over Banana flips. I'm pretty sure it was the banana creme.

All this was pre-diabetes, of course. Plus? When I was a kid, things like that were a treat, not a daily foodstuff.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It's the birthday of our Empress!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I can't stand Twinkies. Never liked them, but in college, I did a play wherein the director wanted me eating a Twinkie every time I came on stage. After 2 weeks of 10 Twinkies per night? Can NOT stand them. Haven't eaten one since and don't expect to.

Hail, Empress, on the day of your birth!!!

{{{{Drew}}}} Honey, all kinds of ~ma to you and your family.
