I talked to T again and then talked to J's mom. The surgery is going to be open heart surgery (rather than using some other method to clear the blockage), and I think I will be able to visit J in the hospital on Saturday or Sunday. I'm so worried, but I'm going to try to concentrate on what I can bring to spoil him instead.

I teach in a low income district and many of my students don't own computers let alone have internet access. Shoot, some of them don't even have phones.

And the 2 productions are just for this semester. Next semester will bring 2 more and one of those is a musical.
I'm totally taking Friday off for my mental health, and to help Hub get my car ready for a show this weekend.
