Honestly, you meet the most appalling sort of people....

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Huh. I got a paycheck from the job I quit on Labor Day. It's a paycheck I didn't work for.

I am tempted to keep it. I won't, but it's tempting. Dude, I QUIT. Take me off direct deposit.

Maybe I'll just put all the money in a savings account and see how long they keep paying me for a job I don't have. I wonder if my health insurance is still good?

Morons.

ION, I went out with five of my girlfriends last night for dinner and drinks to a newly opened Mexican restaurant. We waited for about 40 minutes to get a table, and then it took FOREVER to get dinner. Well, we really didn't notice, cause we were pounding margaritas, except for my one 8 months preggers friend. BUt then the manager showed up at our table, really apologetic, cause the kitchen had run out of chicken. Upshot? We didn't pay a DIME for dinner or drinks! And I think we had about 4 margaritas apiece. We left our waitress a nice tip, though.

Free dinner and lots of yummy drinks! MADE OF WIN!

The status is NOT quo.

Happy Birthdays, smonster & Sophia!!

Sox, I'm glad you're getting out of there soon. (You are getting out of there soon, right?)

Erin, I'd be tempted too, though I agree it would be a bad idea.

I have just gotten back from a crepe lunch in Long Beach with Victor & Lea, AIWFG!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hil, I bet he moved for some dude. Or maybe he couldn't afford NYC. (/obsessed with House) Let's pretend I could close it.

Hee. That's pretty far from NYC to end up if that's where you're aiming for, though. (I think I'm just gonna throw this into the "stuff that TV gets weird about NJ." Along with the fact that I don't think we've ever seen snow on House and the totally wrong plants in many of the exterior shots. Though it's not anywhere near as bad as the red rocks, warm water in May, and PALM TREES on Point Pleasant.)

All is well that ends in pizza.

We have, in fact seen snow in at least three or four eps, but not so much as to be a hazard to navigation.

I stand corrected.

OTOH, that's three or four over, what, four seasons?

True. How often do we see outside, though? (I've seen none of season 3, and only about half of season 2.)

Now that I think about it, most shows set in mid-Atlantic states don't have much snow, or much winter. I guess it would be kind of difficult to get that sort of March snow, where it's not snowing anymore, but there are still clumps of dirty snow on the ground.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

TV snow is always freshly fallen powder that gets miraculously plowed before any of the characters need to go outside. (Unless it's some sort of "trapped by snow" bottle episode, in which case it's a blizzard we only see through the window.)
