Gabriel: Are you trying to destroy this family? Simon: I didn't realize it would be so easy.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

“Not dead yet!”

but, honestly, hospitality doesn't mean making someone feel that they owe you a debt. It means making someone feel welcome and comfortable.

Fourthing. And fifthing, just because. You shouldn't have to come back from vacation more exhausted than when you left and it sounds like that's what you're headed for.

Ok. Hivemind help!

I've been planning on doing a "Talk Like a Pirate Day" party with the kids today. What would be some good kiddo age approved Pirate snacks (or something we could cook)? I'm so drawing a blank.

Our wings are not tired.

Goldfish, because of the pirate ships being in the sea with the fish and stuff. Hey, it's early.

Well, that's better than I'm doing. All I can come up with is liquor and stale bread. The first won't go over well with, well, anyone. The second the kids probably wouldn't enjoy. They'd think it was the dumbest party ever.

Oh, they have those chocolate gold coin things. Treasure is good.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I think realism is possibly not your friend here, vw.

You could make cookies shaped like swords or treasure chests or decorated with the skull and crossbones. Chocolate coins or other things to be treasure.

I'm blanking on non-desserty things.

This I realize.

Oh, the chocolate coins are a good idea!

“Not dead yet!”

There are also the cheddar and Colby Jack cheeses that are shaped like sunbursts-- I think Sargento makes them? With some saltines standing in for "stale bread," maybe?

Also Jell-O is good for almost anything.

information libertarian

Whole Foods carries a snack food called Pirate's Booty. I think it's puffed corn with cheese powder - sort of organic cheetoes (and not orange). How could it be wrong?

Trader Joe's usually carries it as well.

Adding to the chorus on this one. {{{Sox}}}
