Gronk. I taught a class at 8 and a class at 9:35 today. And I was supposed to teach one at 2:20, also, but I was feeling so exhausted that I knew there was no way that I could make it, so I sent out an email canceling it, and came back home and slept until about 3, then on and off for the rest of the afternoon.
(This is actually entirely my fault. I know which med help me stay awake, and I keep forgetting to refill them. Me = dumb.)
Anyway, the depression's kicking my ass ... I think I'll go home and see if I can find something to cheer me up. I know I have some wine in the fridge ... and DVDs.

Oooh, we had one of those last night! And speaking of going - meep, nearly 7am, REALLY ought to get my arse out the door and get to work!
Just came back from 6th grade open house. Took Nate with me and got to watch him turn admirable shades of red when the teachers would talk about assignments being written in their planners and I'd hit him with the hairy eye because, you know, I know him.
Ah, the little joys of parenthood.
Had Abby's open house last night and boy, can her teacher talk (and talk and talk and talk...)
We stopped having open house a few years ago when almost no parents came. We do an open house before school starts for new students and their families. I'm surprised DD doesn't try to have more things, he so loves a "dog and pony show".
Our mid-term grades come out on Thursday. I wonder how many of the Intensive English 3 parents I will hear from once they see their "little angel" is currently earning a D or an F in my class. At least 50% of both the classes aren't passing and, from what I understand, this is totally normal.
