Get up...get up, you stupid piece of... What did you do that for? What's wrong with you? Didn't you hear a word he said? All of you! You think there's someone just going to drop money on you?! Money they could use?! Well, there ain't people like that. There's just people like me.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

(darned HIPA act)

I can sign for and pick up Hubby's major league narcotics, but I can't be told what the pharmacy has on record that he's taking. Yeah, that makes sense.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Other 7th grade boy: What she doesn't know won't get me slapped.

How much do you want to bet that tomorrow's lesson goes something like: She already knows. Don't even try.

Connie - I don't get it. Yesterday I had both the doc and nurse giving me updates, in a full waiting room where anyone could have heard all about the procedure and prognosis. But today I call cause she is in too much pain to make the call herself and I can't talk to the doc (cute or not).

I get to go pick up some more prescriptions in a bit.

Maybe you should go to cute doc's office to make sure that you understand the instructions.

No such thing! Man, I think my boyfriend would be verrrrry happy if I got some Joan outfits together. I wish I had the shopping fu and $$$ to do that.

Connie - I don't get it.

I know. I was holding a bag full of drugs that hoodlums on the street would mug grandmas for, but they won't tell me what other drugs he's recently picked up.

Crazy.

Admittedly, the dress was a splurge, but the shoes were on sale. Plus, I just canceled out of going to a conference in October because I really don't feel like it, so I'm actually saving money.

I do have a screaming claret red duchesse satin Joan dress that I paid something ridiculous like twenty-five bucks for that I'm saving for Lewis to take me out to dinner or something.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Clearly, I've been watching too much Mad Men.

Is that possible!

The dress is divine and the shoes are amazing!

Love the Mad Men ensemble, Barb. Also love the show.
