There may be funds available through other sources too--up here, the local organization that runs the big monthly actor/director/techie newsletter and coordinates the gigantic yearly regional mass auditions also has a small fund for anyone on, under, behind, or somewhere in the rigging above the stage who finds themselves in dire need (usually because of a health care crisis for someone in the household).
