Sparky, that was a very interesting article. Your friend did a great job with a very complex case.
Continued doggy~ma for Mooshu.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

My shoes today are like these, but more ballroom, with an open toe. Courtesy of the Rehoboth Outlets, so the web price is an illusion. [link]
And the Internets tell me that my new computer is in fact a few miles from my house, and no longer in Shanghai, where it was languishing. Can I just say ohthankdog.

I felt exactly the same way after Wallybee's spousal visa was approved.

did Apple screw up the delivery of that too?
eta: realizes possibly that it was not the actual _visa_ that you were referencing. more coffee is warranted.

"Who run Londontown now?!"

Hee. Possibly. I am pleased to say that Apple took their delivery responsibilities seriously to the extent that they were involved.
Sean, do you belong to any unions? A lot of them maintain emergency funds for members who've fallen on hard times. There may be funds available through other sources too--up here, the local organization that runs the big monthly actor/director/techie newsletter and coordinates the gigantic yearly regional mass auditions also has a small fund for anyone on, under, behind, or somewhere in the rigging above the stage who finds themselves in dire need (usually because of a health care crisis for someone in the household).
All of this is stuff the hospital social worker could pursue for you; you just need to mention it.

She has a talent for puking on the bed a day or two after I've taken all the big blankets & quilts to the triple loaders at the laundry for a cleaning -- which I did on Saturday during the rain. I guess I'll try to motivate myself back there this evening after yoga.
Andi, I will give Jenn your compliments. She's brilliant - a former astrophysicist (she found it too misogynistic a discipline to spend her life in it) turned freelance journalist.
If I could have a theme song, what would it be and why? Yes, it's a silly question, but since last year all I got in the yearbook was a misattributed quote, I'm thinking of actually answering this time. Only I can't think of anything. Well, "O Lord, I Have Made You a Place In My Heart" comes to mind, but it might be a problem if anyone looked up the lyrics.
Sean, do you belong to any unions?
Nope. Not a union member. S is on honorable withdrawal from her union. They may be able to help.
