We got served with a three day notice to quit today. We haven't been able to pay rent, because the only check we have that can cover rent is S's SSD check, which she can't cash right now.

Are there any social workers, social services, anything like that on staff at the hospital? They should be able to intervene in some way--either find a way to force your landlords to wait or find a source of emergency funding, or something. If your current circumstances don't qualify for catastrophic hardship, I can't imagine what would.

Not really. It's not too bad this time. Mostly worried about school stuff. Thanks, though. I just haven't been able to get anything done lately, and feeling really stupid about it.
