Doesn't winter seem more like archiving season?

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I had a dream last night that I was at a party at Glamcookie & her DW's house, and I brought Jack McCoy (from Law & Order) with me as a date and he kicked in their new bathroom door. Damn you McCoy!!!!

BWAH! I had a dream a few nights ago in which I had a party and lots of Buffistas were there. I remember specifically talking a lot with JZ, whom I've never met IRL. I think this means we need an LA F2F!

LA Opera's production of Howard Shore's The Fly

We're going to see this on Sunday! It'll either be horrible or fabulous. Either way, something to see. We keep calling it The Black Rider as that was an ambitious (Tom Waits) show that we really hated. Hopefully that won't be the case.

Continued ~ma for S and for you, Sean.

RNC was rage inducing. I listened to NPR coverage on my way home from work last night. Someone mentioned "continued peace" and I was like WTFF???? Last time I checked, we were at WAR motherfucker!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

This, though sad, makes me remember "don't tase me bro".

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

This, though sad, makes me remember "don't tase me bro".

"Don't tase me, b-BBAAAWWWKKK!!"

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

They're making a movie based on "French Women Don't Get Fat." With the lead played by Hilary Swank, who will gain "20 to 30 pounds" for the role. [link]

I just can't believe they are making a movie out of a diet book.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Good God, Sean. How horrendous for you. I don't know what to say.

All my -ma is yours, though, mate.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Tonight, I plan on distracting myself by attending an invited dress rehearsal for the LA Opera's production of Howard Shore's The Fly.

Interesting. Shore's done the scores for all but, I think, three of Cronenberg's movies.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Damn. I just got a call for TCG saying they would not be calling him back for a second interview on the job he applied for. He would be perfect for the job. I really really don't want to call him and give him this message.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Why would they give you that message? That's so unprofessional. And puts you in a not-fun position.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Brenda, they didn't. They left it on our voicemail. I didn't answer the phone.

Ah, that's a little better then. Sorry he didn't get it, that's always so hard.
