Spike: I'm not a monster. Xander: Yes! You are a monster. Vampires are monsters! They make monster movies about them! Spike: Well, yeah. Got me there.

'Dirty Girls'

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Casper kitty is adorable!

Mom is currently dragging me around the mall looking for a dress for the shower. I'm glad I already have mine.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I'm sick of paying high prices for low-cal fruit spreads so trying to make my own. I'll post recipe if it works, which I'll know tomorrow since it has to be refrigerated overnight.

Always Anti-fascist!

I did not call my boss Larry Wanker(His name is frighteningly similar to this) and tell him to suck it. I think I get a cookie. Reminds me of the fundy stereo salesman in some Pelecanos books that everybody called Void Danker so much I forget what the dude's name is. Jesse?

“Not dead yet!”

Yep-- Hanna's looking to flirt with the North Florida coast before (hopefully, knocking on all surfaces) making that right turn away from us. With any luck, she'll head right back out to sea, but we wouldn't be that lucky, would we?

brillig

At least the reservoirs in Georgia and the Southeast will get refilled. And the Everglades should be full.

They're actually talking about draining Lake Okeechobee some, which completely blows my mind.

Thrive to spite them

Erin I'm sorry your job was so toxic but I'm glad you got out of it.

I'm all for medication to deal with depresion and anxiety.

I'm back from seeing Evan. I miss him already. I took 168 pictures, and soon most of them will be on my flickr page. Although there were some bad pictures and one where Evan looked....really weird.

Last night he slept 7 1/2 hours straight! He's just over 2 weeks old! He's amazing. And wonderful and cute, despite his freaky long thumbs.

Our wings are not tired

I'm at work in a darkened theatre. I'm also trying to get a lawyer and a financial adviser to actually schedule things in a timely fashion. Joy.

My pharmacy doesn't carry the 4 mg folic acid that I am supposed to take in case I get pregnant. So, I have to take 4 1 mg tablets. At least they're small. I figured I should start them now just in case.
