Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Holy shit, Erin. I know how desperately you were looking for work right before the school year started, so for you to quit? That place has to be unbelievably toxic (though I guess now we know why they still had openings so close to the beginning of the year). I'm vibing hard for something better.

Oh, shit, Erin. It hadn't gotten any better, huh? Dang. I was hoping those horrible kids were an anomaly. Sorry they weren't.

Fingers crossed something better comes up really quickly. :(

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

thanks. Not an easy decision, but I was having hyterical panic attacks at the THOUGHT of going there -- burst into tears when I sat down to work on lesson plans, etc.

I'm SO glad I'm out. I never want to feel like that again.

I called today to arrange to come in to get my stuff. 5 teachers out.

There were some good teachers and good students there, but...the best way I can explain it is like spending money and hour thinking of, buying and making a delicious, nutricious meal, bringing it it in...and half the people knocked it contemptuously into the gutter and took a shit on it. While blocking the hungry people from getting a crumb.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry the place sucked so much, Erin. But I'm very glad you're out.

FIVE teachers have quit?? Damn. Good luck to you, Erin. I'm so sorry it went down that way. You so don't deserve that.

ION, gulp. I am considering taking 2 classes next semester (Spring 09)instead of spreading them out, 1 class in the spring, 1 class in the summer. I've never taken more than one class at a time since I started my degree program!! But then I'd be DONE.

Daniel Radcliffe not wizard at flirting
Daniel Radcliffe admits he still has a lot to learn when it comes to attracting members of the opposite sex. The Harry Potter star says he tries to get to women to notice him by staring at them. "My school of flirting rule is to look at them until they notice me and then hope for the best," he says.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Way-better-job~ma to you, Erin. No job is worth that God-awful feeling.

I don't start school until the week of 9/22. And it will be my LAST QUARTER EVAH! In the meantime, though, I have to finish my portfolio paper (10 pager), which is due on 9/12. Then I leave for a week in the Keys on 9/13! WEEEEE!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Erin, you are wise and courageous. I'm sorry this job was so toxic. Best of job~ma to you.

I wish I had the guts to try to go back to school. It burns and eats away at me that I didn't finish my degree. But I don't have the nerve to work and go to school, any more.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Erin, that sounds mad scary. Glad you're out.
