Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Punishingly Intricate

lisah! How are the pets? I misses all of them! Were they happy to see you?

They are good and seemed vaguely happy to see me...about the same amount happy as they are when I get home from work. They must have gotten a lot of attention this weekend! Thank you so much!!! You are The Best! I'll totally write a testimonial for you as Awesome Pet Caretaker if you ever need one. hope you had a good time in the 'More!!!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I like this recent pic of us:

You two should have babies!

skimmy skimmy skim. How is it, with the skimming, I managed to read the posts on malted snacks. With peanut butter even. And here I am, with no snacks, save an apple or two. Not quite the same. Not fair I say!

I seemed to have skimmed past the billboard picture. Dang it.

I have found a new wonderful thing about my new home town. A small chain of bookstores. 1/2 Price Books. Used books, CD's, DVD's, software, LP's. The flagship store is 5 minutes from my place. DUDE! It's like the size of Best Buy! But Books!!! Sadly I went in there with a mission to find a specific book for an opening night gift idea, and they didn't have it. But I did manage to pick up 4 movies for $30. The first 2 of the LOTR, one of which was it's little exteneded edition, Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, and For Love Of The Game. Dude, place is media heaven!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Half Price is why I have my very own shiny copy of Playing God in my desk at work.

Please don't ask. I can't explain.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Mmm, Half Price Books.

GC and DW are beautifully happy together. Y'all make me smile.

Do not click this [link] if you don't want to waste time while at work in the morning. Really. Don't do it. You'll be playing "mini-golf" for awhile. Don't say I didn't warn you.

“Not dead yet!”

Gronklies--

Is it bad of me to say I really hate having a three-day weekend after only one week of school? It feels as if the rhythm we fell into during the previous week has gone to the toilet.

::brought to you by the mom who had to deal with a seriously cranky twelve year-old this morning::

Mostly lurking...

Yeah, Barb, I have to admit that I never got that one. I am so thankful to go to a school that doesn't start till after Labor Day.

Speaking of, first day of school today! YAY! I'm sure my tune will change by the end of the week.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I don't wanna go to work today.
