'Serenity'

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Sail and Steph said perfectly what I was framing as an answer so I just deleted it and will add a "What Steph, and Sail, said".

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

you didn't abscond with the church funds or run off with a senator's wife.

Now that sounds like fun.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

you didn't abscond with the church funds or run off with a senator's wife.

Now that sounds like fun.

Surely you know what movie that's from...

(No fair googling!)

“Not dead yet!”

At Disney. Weather is awful because of Hanna. Native Floridian girl is laughing because it's just a little rain.

Our wings are not tired.

The love and support and truthiness of Bitches is a thing of beauty.

Cool discovery today! One of my client's tech people that I talk to all the time is a totally adorkable nerd and I didn't know it until today. He lives west of New Orleans right on the dotted line that says CAT 4 or 5 hurricane coming now. So I have been backing up his databases and critical stuff to our servers here in addition to the external drive and tape backups he is taking with him tomorrow when he has to evacuate. Scary shit really. He can't be sure his office or his home will even be there when he returns. One of the doctors is staying through the weekend on call and will unplug stuff before he evacuates.

Anyway, in the course of coordinating my additional backup of the data, he mentions he is also a weather nerd and has a website where he is tracking various sources, and hopes to have time to hook up a camera before he evacuates.

Name of site: Frodeaux's - not just a weblog, a nerdlog

I think I am smitten.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Short lines!

Our wings are not tired.

Yeah, short lines, but still with the hot and sticky. I went for 4th of July once, let's just call it temporary insanity. Worst part was that fireworks were canceled because of fire risk.

Crazed all week, but on my quick look at the Orlando theaters it looks like we can arrange to do the Hamlet 2 F2F anytime in the next month. Will coordinate later. Enjoy Disney.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Fay, what they all said. You're lovely, you just forgot.

I saw Hamlet 2 last night. I highly recommend. I laughed out loud a LOT and even snorted a few times. I want to go see it again.

“Not dead yet!”

Heh. We've got fast passes for rock n'roller coaster because it still had a 60 minute wait. The waiting is mostly under cover.

“Not dead yet!”

And it's actually pleasant. The temps are in the 70s it feels like.
