Fay - I've heard a bunch about demonstrations in your area the last few days. Is everything ok?

Yeah - lots of demonstrations, apparently (and have been for months, actually, but it's cranked up a bit lately), but I've not seen a peep myself. I understand that the airports in Phuket and Chiang Mai have been closed down, but Bangkok airport is still open. People are way pissed off with the government, particularly since they let Taksin do a runner again. Still, it's business as usual around my way so far. Touch wood.

Seriously Cash, if it was my daughter she would have seen the birthing videos before she had teh sex.

We watched a video of a birth in health class in seventh or eighth grade. It was from Sweden, I think. When a bunch of us asked why the mother would allow that to be filmed, the teacher pretty much said, "They've got different ideas about that sort of stuff in Europe."

When I was having Owen, a medical student asked to come in and observe the delivery. At that point, she could have brought in the entire OSU marching band and I could have cared less.

Maybe I'm European.

I have video of Brendon being born. When he is misbehaving I threaten to show it to his friends.

I filmed my friend's birth. She told me it was really well done and tasteful. Which is what happens when you are all "OMFG!" "Should I be taping this? OMFG. Hey, is the 7 year old coping ok? OMFG."
