We watched a video of a birth in health class in seventh or eighth grade. It was from Sweden, I think. When a bunch of us asked why the mother would allow that to be filmed, the teacher pretty much said, "They've got different ideas about that sort of stuff in Europe."

When I was having Owen, a medical student asked to come in and observe the delivery. At that point, she could have brought in the entire OSU marching band and I could have cared less.

I have video of Brendon being born. When he is misbehaving I threaten to show it to his friends.

I filmed my friend's birth. She told me it was really well done and tasteful. Which is what happens when you are all "OMFG!" "Should I be taping this? OMFG. Hey, is the 7 year old coping ok? OMFG."
