I actually kind of don't care about the migraine. It held off until today, so I'm ok with it. The old Val would have been so stressed the last couple of days that she'd had a migraine THOSE days and not been able to finish the class. So, yay progress! I'd still like to get my body to not have such physical responses to stress, but well, I'll take the improvement.
That always feels good.

I stopped using the public library because they (a) didn't check the books back in when I returned them and (b) didn't shelve them where they belonged. This led to them insisting I had books out that had been returned (on time); I racked up some significant late fees for books that I'd returned. I took to taking out the little date cards in the back and saying I wasn't sure when they were due so they'd HAVE to check, but they caught on to that little trick and didn't let me pull it any more. grrrr.

so, I've been trying to meet with my boss for a few weeks now to plan for the year. Normally, we would have done this already, but he was hemming and hawing and pretending he was leaving, so we didn't. Now, he's putting me off, having cancelled meetings multiple times. That's cool, he's busy.
I sent him yet another email yesterday trying to set something up. He didn't respond, fine. BUT, when someone sent a group email saying "hey, if you have this stuff, could you send it to me" He manages to send me an email "please make sure that we've done this" ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!?!?! As if I wouldn't have done it any goddamned way!
