Angel: Is that what you think you are--a hero? Spike: Saved the world didn't I? Angel: Once. Talk to me after you've done it a couple more times.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Also, I'm watching a Nova special about cuttlefish. Cthulufish FTW!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Wine is always a good plan, Torque. It's less alcohol than tequila, but enough to feel comforting.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Torque, I'm sorry she couldn't see how adorable and good you are. Her loss, though I expect it doesn't feel like it to you now.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Benedryl existing is proof that God wants me to eat of the avocado. I believe this.

Also, I'm watching a Nova special about cuttlefish. Cthulufish FTW!

That's a fantastic special! I watched it twice.

Wine is a good plan.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

like puberty?

No.

That's why he wants me to have sex. What the hell do you do with your avocados, woman?

I can't imagine being allergic to avocado! That would be so sad.

Cranky pants mostly stayed off. I went to the mall and read books after work. And then I went and got cuban food, though it wasn't really great. Somehow it was only OK. It was another branch of the place I went with Burrell and her family last time I was in town. The tostones were meh...but they were still tostones, man. Which is to say, more tostones than I usually eat in Seattle! The maduros are kinda gross though, somehow. And the moros are dry as heck, and the flan....but still. All in all, it's probably better than what I ate last night from the grocery store. Except for the pluot. The pluot last night was pretty darn yummy.

Um. People said stuff, and I read it, and now I forgot it.

Sorry about the dumping, Torque. Drinking is good, but not so much that your head hurts in the morning, cause then it's nto good. I've learned that lesson.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

JZ is allergic to avocado, which really impinges on the vegetarian options in California. Also, she loved avocado and didn't develop the allergy until her early adulthood.
