Tara: Do you have any books on robots? Giles: Oh, yes, dozens. There's a lot of research to be done in order to--no, I'm lying. Haven't got squat. I just like watching Xander squirm.

'Get It Done'

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

OK, my calming via SG-1 has resulted in me finishing Season 7. Of course the cliff hanger is OMG! Which leads to 2 questions. 1) even though it is 1:15 am and I have to work in the morning, do I start on season 8 (probably shouldn't). and 2) is this when I need to start watching Stargate Atlantis? Or is it plainly clear in SG-1 when that happens?

And, now for my listening pleasures, more famous Texas Thunder. I love it!

ETA: Well I started on Season 8. 30 minutes into the double feature season premier, instead of getting up for snacks, I've decided to head for bed. Oh, how I hate being responsible! Why wasn't I born into a life of leisure as I must have been in my past life?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Happy birthday, Fay!!!

No cranky pants for meara! I think tomorrow, you should just be pantless.

Kristin, good luck with the orientation. I know you'll do well.

I've been away for the weekend (Iowa State Fair! Woot!), and spent today finishing up curriculum stuff. Well, finishing up what I plan on finishing up before school starts. Tomorrow, I need to go by school and work on my room some.

I think I'm about to start a conversation I won't have time to monitor tomorrow when y'all wake up...

Has anyone seen/heard about this poll from MSNBC? [link]

It's about "should we remove 'in god we trust' from our currency".

What? I'm going to bed now, I promise. had to wait for iPhone to finish updating itself.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

It's about "should we remove 'in god we trust' from our currency".

Maybe they'll replace it with "Now watch this drive".

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Happy Birthday, Fay!

Maybe they'll replace it with "Now watch this drive".

Given the way the US dollar has held up lately, I'd go with, "Now watch this dive."

Our wings are not tired.

Here's hoping meara wakes up without her cranky pants on. Really, that is a sincere wish.

Best wishes for a successful week, Kristin. May it be much better than anticipated.

Happy Birthday to Fay! 35 was my favorite birthday. All my life I had thought that 35 was the best age for a woman. I looked forward to it from HS on. For years I added age to my resume and lied about schooling and experience, then when I turned 35 it no longer was required because I had the experience. In the business world people suddenly stopped treating me like a little girl and knew I was a successful woman with her act together. Ok, maybe that last part was in my head, but I felt it was a milestone in the best way. Fear me when I turn 60 because I have a whole other mind set about that one.

Shorter version - 35 is a rocking age, enjoy it!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Happy FayDay!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Happy Birthday, Fay!!!

Good luck today, Kristin.

Gronk. My body thought 4 AM was the time to get up. Stoopid body.
