Angel: Is that what you think you are--a hero? Spike: Saved the world didn't I? Angel: Once. Talk to me after you've done it a couple more times.

Spike's Bitches 42: Which question do you want me to answer first?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Here's hoping meara wakes up without her cranky pants on. Really, that is a sincere wish.

Best wishes for a successful week, Kristin. May it be much better than anticipated.

Happy Birthday to Fay! 35 was my favorite birthday. All my life I had thought that 35 was the best age for a woman. I looked forward to it from HS on. For years I added age to my resume and lied about schooling and experience, then when I turned 35 it no longer was required because I had the experience. In the business world people suddenly stopped treating me like a little girl and knew I was a successful woman with her act together. Ok, maybe that last part was in my head, but I felt it was a milestone in the best way. Fear me when I turn 60 because I have a whole other mind set about that one.

Shorter version - 35 is a rocking age, enjoy it!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Happy FayDay!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Happy Birthday, Fay!!!

Good luck today, Kristin.

Gronk. My body thought 4 AM was the time to get up. Stoopid body.

Librarian Warlord

Happy Birthday, Fay!

Today is the second day in a row that my DH has taken the puppy to day care, leaving me with the cake-walk commute. I keep wondering if he's up to something.

Today when I swept the kitchen floor there were no mouse droppings. I told my DH I'd be in charge of the food and clean up and he was in charge of the traps (and I didn't want to hear a body count).

Because books.

He's clearly plotting, Sparky.

We should ship Twitch down to you. For a sweetheart of a cat, he's a ferocious mouser.

Happy Birthday, Fay!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

It's about "should we remove 'in god we trust' from our currency".

I remember having a conversation with my dad about the fact that the currency was no longer based on the gold standard, what was it based on. He got out a bill of some denomination, pointed and said, "Why do you think they put, 'In God we trust' on it?"

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I have just finished watching the Men's Olympic Triathlon. Exciting finish! Now I need to go train for my own race.

Happy birthday Fay!!

I myself am looking forward to turning 35 next month.
