I have to say, I'm impressed that you're making the effort to fit in.The BBQ is well worth 'fitting in'. The "fast food" version of Texan BBQ is better than anything I've had before. I've been mocked for it. But all the good BBQ places stop serving after about 2ish. Once they sell out of the meat they prep'ed for the day, they close up shop. Makes sense, but it sucks. What's a boy to do? (I'd mention the chain's name, but I know this room. I'd get mocked for it somehow). [link]

Hey all. Just a quick note to say that I did eventually get home tonight. I took the Burbank flight, played musical airports, got my car, drove home, watched an episode of Dr. Who, drove Sean home (he'd borrowed Drew's truck earlier that day and so was car-less), and then sat mindlessly in front of the TV for a few hours while I color-coded/organized school stuff. Am now going to collapse in bed.

No, and in some cases not even that, if it's a nonytpical presentation like Dylan had. We were told to keep him on Tylenol if his fever spiked, and otherwise just keep him away from other kids for a few days. (Though if it's going around the daycare that ship has likely already sailed.)

Hi all. Good to see Kristin finally arrived home. We've had about 8" of rain. Messy but not bad. Tornadoes to the west of us leaving horses without barns. Horsies ok. Only injury I have seen was a kite surfer that was picked up off the water, bounced a couple times on the beach then tossed into a truck on the road. Yep, Darwin at work again.
Looks like I might have a rain break for a little while. Might drive the mile to the office and check things there since I can't reach my computers. Might not have power.
eta: yes, a lot of mights there, like storm track, uncertain
