Don't I know it. The 5 principles of this art are: Ethics, Effort, Character, Sincerity, and Self Control. That last one is something that gets talked about a lot. Hopefully this will help give him some tools to be able to have better Self Control.

I think it'll be good for him. I've got a good feeling about this. I think this will be a good base for CJ in Denver.
I hope so. Poor punkin has been through so much in the last 6 months with the separation, move, sis going to college, leaving his friends, starting a new school, learning a new town, and having to make new friends.
He has been such a help and so patient through all of this. Week one of school has gone well and none of teacher were "Oh, you are CJ's mom..." at Back to School night.
I think it is a good idea ,too.
Talked to my sister on the phone a few hours ago. Mom is going through a reverse plasma transfusion at the moment to reverse the effects of the cumaden she takes before the surgery. It's scheduled for tomorrow at 10 AM back in California. The plan is a plate and screws in the ankle, it's a pretty big fracture from what my sister tells me. There's a reasonably high risk of hearth failure or stroke during or after the surgery, and then a long recovery. The hospital wants to put her into at least 6 weeks of nursing assisted care after the surgery. I get back to LA sometime Sunday night and my current plan is to pick up my car and drive directly to San Diego.
Yeah, I'd like it if the universe would let up just a bit.
OK, off to sit in on the 1st run through of TOMMY!AIFG! HoMG! My first show here. The band ROCKS. The actors are real good! And that's in the rehearsal hall. We (sound dept) have a lot of work to do, but I am excited!
Although, I missed a great race in the pool tonight. Dang it. Cést la vie.
