hip deep in pie

Kathy Griffin's hair was tragic, and also Christina Applegate's bun was a different shade of blonde than her own hair. When will people learn about bad wigs?

“Not dead yet!”

I loathed Eva Longoria's dress. That was one butt ugly boob bow.

Because books.

Kathy Griffin has so much of her own hair, though! Why wear a bad wig?! I did think the bangs looked crooked.

Sandra Oh's dress was lovely. So was the last one Heidi wore, I thought. Probably just on her, though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I liked America Ferrara's dress. I wasn't much impressed, on the whole, with the looks.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I thought Lisa Edelstein looked fantastic. I think it's because her hair was styled beautifully. Maybe I'm watching too much project runway, but I thought Sandra Oh was drowning in her dress and I thought America Fererra looked gorgeous but her dress had a bit too much volume.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Heidi's cream-colored dress (for presenting the DH people) was pretty, but the decoration at the top was too close to her face

One of my other favorite dresses was Jenna Fischer-- that beautiful ombré chiffon in the varying shades of green and of course, did Christina Hendricks look absolutely scorching or what? She makes all those underfed stick-figure waifs look like, well, underfed stick-figure waifs.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

In the show I am working on, the designer is trying to dress someone a la Christina Hendricks in Mad Men, but she is now worried that the actress is too hippy for a pencil skirt and needs an a-line. I am trying to talk her into tailoring the pencil skirt as it will look great, it is just hard to find an off the rack skirt that tailors to a wasit hip differential of over 10 inches!

I almost really like Vanessa Williams, but the contrast of the jewelled strap and the dress's pattern throws it off. If the strap were a solid colour, then it might even be love, and I'm not a pattern girl.

Julie Benz doesn't look great. Grace Park looks wrong. (I can't vouch for the continued goodness of the Yahoo links)

Aha! Felicity Huffman looks lovely, and I usually hate that nude look.
