There's a reason why Jesse Jackson was only able to go so far in the 1980s--he had that history of having been an Angry Young Black Man in the 1960s, and he has never been able to shake that "threatening" image to win over the number of white voters he needed to win national office.

My stomach's growling because I'm still here at the office and haven't had lunch yet. According to ND, who has many conservative Christians on his Facebook friendslist (remember that ND grew up in a very conservative, right-wing town and went to a Christian high school), Biden has become a hotbed for conservative anger because of some comment he made about how paying taxes is patriotic. I happen to agree with him, but my point is that anger from Biden is not likely to be that effective for half the population regardless. Maybe it would make a difference to the undecideds, but how many of them are there anymore? Our country is frighteningly divided. It scares me.
