Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I shoulda pinged when you didn't chime in on the new cat.

Heh. Yep.... Congrats on the new kitty! Do you have a picture?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yay, tommy! Okay, not 100% yay, obviously, but it's good to see your pixels, even if it's not in a cheery way.

Go--get your meds fixed so we can have you back longer.

Dinner was good, if not correct. I didn't want the tikka masala to be out of a jar, and although it was a dish invented in Europe, I don't think it was meant to be served with penne. It was just simpler than rice.
