Cordelia: I get it now. You're all spies. Probably all Russian. And you've brainwashed me, and want me to believe we're friends so I'll spill the beans about some nano-technology thingy that you want. Gunn: So I look Russian to you? Cordelia: Black Russian. Angel: That's a drink.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Happy anniversary to the Empress and her MiracleDude!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Thanks for the anniversary wishes!

Happy Anniversary to Aimee and Miracleman, and to Scrappy and her DH.

We took my folks down to the Smithsonian to see the Jim Henson exhibit. This evening we're having dinner with G's dad and stepmom, then going to see "Big River".

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I had hoped for a movie or some other diversion with my Mom, but she's having miserable diarrhea, so we're not going anywhere far from a bathroom. :-(

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Happy anniversary, Aimee and Joe!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Happy Anniversaries!!

I am home, after my flight was 2 hours delayed. At least it was a short flight mid-day, so I wasn't totally bugging out. Also, at 1:15 (for the 11:45 flight), they said the next update would be at 2, but then at 1:30 they hustled us on to the plane! So that felt like exceeding expectations or something, at least....

Oh, also, I didn't click through to that site, but I'm 95% sure I'm the only person alive with my name. (Past Googling has turned up some from Olden Days, all men.)

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Happy Anniversaries!

A pretzel sounds really good.

There's a Henson exhibit at the Smithsonian? Awesome. Will it still be there in mid-September? (I have a 2-day work thing in DC in mid-September...)

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

My aunt knows a guy around my age who recently relocated to Chicago and doesn't know anyone. She wants me to meet him, introduce him to people, and show him around Chicago.

It's definitely not a blind date, and if I were a normal person, I think this would be a perfectly reasonable request.

I have no idea where I would take this guy, and most of my friends are just as bizarre as I am.
