Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Happy Birthday Lori! And happy Anniversary to the Plei and her DH.

I wish I knew about the sickout. I came into work even though I spent last night on the couch with a migraine and still wasn't 100% this morning. I could have legitimately stayed home!

“Not dead yet!”

Happiest of birthdays, Lori! And a very happy anniversary, Plei!

Our wings are not tired.

Happy Birthday to Lori!

Happy Anniversary to Plei and DH.

I prefer the very masculine kprinkle, but if that can't be then Zeus, or Monkey!

Oh, and - I'm back from the Old City tour. Finding Via Dolorosa is a nightmare, but then, in one of the streets, there was an Armenian ceramic shop. I talked with the store owner for about 30 minutes, while my mom was picking goods. The man wants to make me his apprentice, and one of these days, I might take his offer.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

This morning I find I prefer 'Horatio' for a possible cat name. Or possibly, Spartacus.

Did I mention here I was astounded to find out that my local vet has three other Chumleys in their patient database? Versus however many more Spots and Blackies, et cetera, but still, I thought my choice would have been more rare.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In a crossword I was doing the other day, the answer for "common name for a cat" was Cleo, which I wouldn't have necessarily thought of.

My cat's name is Clio. I am a little depressed it's seen as common.

I have to confess, I put Clio in first because of you!

I thought for days about that name! It also took me a while to realize that both my cats' names ended in o. Sometimes I would tangle them all up and call for Clico.
