My SIL said staying at the house works great. She doesn't even have to clean up the room (my brother's office usually is a disaster, but they just had company, so it is still navigable.)
LKN: He's now the annoying upstart. He keeps trying to engage them in play. MK waves a little and wanders off, vaguely annoyed. But Devi. Oh, Devi. She is supremely grumpy. And of course, it is to her he's making the most play initiatives. He gets hissed at and yet he keeps trying. She had a bit of a sulk behind the loveseat. Of course, I'm trying to give her more attention, and she's an attention on her own terms cat. So even *I* am making her grumpy.
But she seems to bounce back pretty quick.
I tried to redirect the kitten with a fake mouse, but had to take that away because he got so riled up he was roaring around with it in his mouth, growling. Not helpful to tranquility casa sarameg.

Yeah, it was. Bright green fake mouse. Fierce little unconvincing predator... I almost felt bad, but yowzers he was cranked. And is passed out now. He and MK (on different couches.) Devi's on the bed, more relaxed than she's been all evening.
